This precious bee-delight has its origin in the fertile valleys of Wadi Do’an, Hadramout in Yemen where the Sidr trees (Ziziphus spina-christi) grow. The numerous thorns on their branches are embraced by a bunch of yellow flowers that contribute greatly to the uniqueness of this Sidr honey, turning it into an exotic, liquid “gold”, known for its potent therapeutic properties.

Sidr Honey has many health benefits and has been used to treat medical conditions for centuries. It is great for wounds, immune support, and digestion.

This honey does not granulate due to its low moisture content and high fructose levels.

This honey is difficult to harvest due to the remote regions where the Sidr tree thrives. This makes it a rare and expensive honey that is said to be the best in the world.
