Gold Reserve Sourwood Honey

Freshly collected from the Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia, this is the taste pinnacle of the Sourwood Honey harvest.

You might be tempted to save this limited release for special occasions; it pairs perfectly with strawberries and complements savory dishes like grilled asparagus.

Despite its name, it is not sour at all. In fact, it is sweet, full, and rich in flavor. It possesses subtle notes of caramel and anise with hints of maple and spice. The aftertaste is best described as spicy gingerbread.  This is single-source honey with no additives.

All the honey we sell is raw.  Unheated and unpasteurized honey retains that fresh from the hive taste.
